Jennette Morgan began her career in birth work in 2010, when she trained as a birth and postpartum doula. She spent the next five years providing prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum support for families in New York and New Jersey, often offering her services pro bono for teens and other expectant parents in need. In 2013, Jennette completed a BSN in Nursing at New York University and was hired as a labor and delivery nurse at Mount Sinai Hospital in Manhattan. While working as a labor and delivery nurse, Jennette completed her MSN in Midwifery at Frontier Nursing University. After earning her midwifery license in 2017, Jennette worked at Birth & Beyond, a home birth full-scope midwifery service in Madison, Connecticut.
Jennette believes in the power that every birthing person’s body has and understands that all people deserve access to compassionate, non-judgmental quality healthcare. She strives to provide a care environment where each person feels safe, heard, respected and empowered.
