Joseph D. Santoro, MD, FACOG is an attending physician at Metropolitan Hospital and the Quality Director of Village Maternity MD. He is a highly skilled obstetrician and gynecologist with over 20 years of experience in the medical field. Dr. Santoro graduated from the University of Vermont College of Medicine and completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center.

Dr. Santoro has a special interest in high-risk obstetrics and has received advanced training in fetal surgery, including minimally invasive procedures. He has extensive experience in managing complex medical conditions during pregnancy, such as hypertension, diabetes, and autoimmune disorders.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Santoro is actively involved in research and education. He has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals and has presented his work at national and international conferences. He is also an Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Weill Cornell Medical College and is involved in training the next generation of obstetricians and gynecologists.
