Tania Fils-Aimé is a certified midwife. She studied psychology as an undergraduate at Hunter College, before deciding to pursue a career in midwifery at SUNY Downstate. Tania did one of her clinical rotations at Metropolitan Hospital and was ultimately drawn to Met’s ability to provide true compassionate midwifery care to diverse patient populations.
Tania values women’s ability to make informed decisions and has dedicated her midwifery career to providing compassionate midwifery care in a warm and safe environment without regard to age, race, socioeconomic status, religious affiliation or other circumstances. She grew up in Haiti and currently lives in Brooklyn.
